Originated in Haleakala Branch Station, Hawaii by R. A. Hamilton, University of Hawaii. Introduced in 1982. Sharwill x open pollinated seedling. Cross made in 1962; variety selected in 1970. Ripens in Feb. to May. Good handling quality. Fruit has a rich, nutty flavor. Tree medium, upright, very productive with a tendency to alternate bearing.
